Location,surroundings and accessibility

Eindhoven is famous as being one of the smartest regions in the world! With its own airport, the High Tech Campus, Eindhoven University of Technology, and the Design Academy, the city has international allure. Eindhoven has a lot to offer in the areas of night-life, design, sports, technology (Brainport) and hosts many festivals and (music) events. Just think about Dutch Design week, GLOW, the Feelgood Festival at STRIJP-S, etc. In the centre of town, there’s a variety of restaurants and nightlife possibilities like the areas around Bergen, Wilhelminaplein and Stratumseind. Empire Living Center is exactly located between the city centre and the High Tech Campus, making it an ideal base for both (international) students and expats.

Empire Living Center is located on the ring road, Keizer Karel V Singel, near main roads, shopping facilities, parking and public transport right outside your door. The centre of Eindhoven is just 5-minutes away by bike, where various restaurants and cafes can be found. It’s also just a 10-minute bike ride to the High Tech Campus!

Empire Living Center is on a dividing line between two districts, the popular Schrijversbuurt (part of the borough of Gestel) and the artistic district Oud-Strijp. Strijp is an area that is currently being developed with places like the Philips Stadium and the Klokgebouw, and many creative start-ups have their home base in Strijp. The Schrijversbuurt is part of the borough of Gestel and is a fun neighborhood with various shops, outdoor cafes and of course the beautiful Genneperpark with the historic Open Air Museum of Eindhoven.
